About the Project
A majlis is more than a beautiful room. It is where a home opens its heart to others. It is where guests are welcomed, coffee is shared, conversations unfold, and relationships grow stronger with every gathering. With that spirit in mind, this project was created to transform the majlis into a space that carries both grandeur and warmth. The first impression is one of scale and elegance. Magnificent crystal chandeliers descend from the high classical ceiling, casting a warm glow across detailed wall mouldings, expansive windows, rich fabrics, and carefully composed furniture. Natural daylight enters generously through the tall windows, bringing the surrounding greenery into the room and giving the majlis an open, graceful atmosphere. At the heart of the project is the furniture itself. The dark, beautifully finished wooden frames create a strong and sophisticated foundation, while the flowing curves, slender legs, and carefully crafted details give each piece an unmistakably classical character. Subtle golden embellishments have been incorporated into the furniture as refined accents rather than decoration for its own sake — small details that reveal themselves as you move closer. The upholstery was selected to soften this richness. Elegant ivory sofas are balanced by sophisticated green armchairs, decorative cushions, and coordinated fabrics, creating a palette inspired by nature and timeless classical interiors. Every textile, curve, and proportion contributes to a sense of comfort without compromising the formality expected of a distinguished majlis. Look closer, and the character of the project becomes even more apparent. From the polished wooden profiles and delicately tapered legs to the gold detailing, tailored upholstery, bolsters, tassels, and precise finishing, the smallest elements were treated with the same attention as the room itself. Because true luxury is often experienced most clearly in the details that were never overlooked. Yet despite its grandeur, the majlis was never intended to feel like a space that should only be admired from a distance. It was made for people. For welcoming a guest with a cup of Omani coffee. For family gatherings that continue into the evening. For conversations between generations. For celebrations, familiar faces, and the unexpected visits that eventually become some of the home's most treasured memories. The result is a majlis that feels ceremonial when the occasion demands it, yet warm and comfortable enough to remain deeply connected to everyday life. A space where craftsmanship creates the beauty, hospitality gives it meaning, and every gathering adds another chapter to its story.
